The major challenge in insulating this gorgeous home was to not disturb any of the amazing original Victorian-era woodwork or finishes, inside and out. Under the watchful eye of both the homeowner and the Jefferson County Historical Society, C and F insulation employed a "Drill and Fill" technique that accomplished the task nicely.
Using tiny 2" holes and injectible 100 per cent pure fiberglass with zero chemicals added, C and F Insulation was able to transform the R-value of this historic home from zero to R-13, with no affect on the original woodwork and other historic features of the home. The small holes used are easily made invisible by a skilled handyman. This cottage will be a lot more efficient and comfortable to live in year-round!
